Camera Critters for Sunday- This takes the cake for sure "Buddy the king of the BED"!

I really think my cat is spoiled. This is a nightly ritual, Buddy always jumps up on the bed and eventually lands in a position just like me. Propped on the pillow and yes he manages to put the covers on himself. When it is time to wake in the morning. I generally get a tap with his paw on my head. It is a soft tap, tap, tap until I wake. Who needs an alarm clock. Gotta love this one. Visit more Camera Critters here

Peach Pie and Ice Cream Crochet Hat

Summer is almost over and I've been very busy creating many new Crochet Hat styles. Pictures is a great soft dainty piece reminding me of "Peach Pie and a little Ice cream on the side".
Handcrafted using worsted weight yarn in a wonderful neutral beige. Great with jeans and a tee-shirt or as an accessory to a fancy dress. Great for Photo Prop's too.

B E A C H I E

My latest custom order for a great swimsuit outfit. May I say that I received this request and had free reign to design a new hat based on the theme and colors of this sweet bathing suit. I used the bright yellow and white for the base. A subtle spot of hot pink and soft pink dots to enhance the overall appearance. The final result is a perfect match! Hope you enjoy your new summer duds.

Spring into a great Crochet Cotton Hat

Spring is in the air. I have been diligently working on my summer line of crochet hats.
This is just a sample and if you would like to see more hop on over to www.theedgeof17.com and take a look at all the other styles. Cotton is great for summer hats especially to protect from the rays of the sun. We really have to be careful and protect our little ones. These hats not only protect the eyes but are also cool because of the light cotton. Great for the beach or just for wearing outside to play. So take a look at my other styles and enjoy!

Saturday Camera Critters -Tom and Tina Turtleberger

Just a fun pic of this handsome duo. They reside at the popcorn zoo in Lacy township NJ.
The popcorn zoo is a fun place to visit and houses a plethora of animals that have been abused or misplaced. If you live in NJ it is a nice visit and many critters to see. Be sure to visit camera critters to add your own picture.

1. Why are you making such a big deal out of having a little cold
2. I want you to take a trip to the west coast with me
3. If you want to move back home then it will be on my terms.
4. Taste it and see what happens.
5. I could use a new summer wardrobe
6. Snow and then more snow.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to relaxing and crocheting, tomorrow my plans include The flower show and Sunday, I want to crochet more hats!

Visit the Friday Fill Ins and join the fun.

Wordless Wednesday - All I wanted to do is trim by bangs!

Wordless Wednesday-

Following in big brothers footsteps, yes this little grandson of mine just wanted to trim his bangs a bit. Totally exhausted after the tedious task of getting them just right, well...almost right. He is just getting a little R-n-R and will finish the rest after he wakes from his nap.

Beads - Just what you needed

Here is a little handy trick when your knitting or crocheting and trying to remember what row you are on.
Take a small box and some beads. Count the number of rows that you are working on and gather together the same number of beads. Place all the beads outside of the box. After you have completed a row place one bead back inside of the box. When all the beads are in the box you have completed all the rows you were working on. This trick is sure to help if you want to talk on the phone or watch your favorite television show while you work on your project. I use this method all the time and never miss a row.- Enjoy!

Gathering Yarn

My yarn partner "Edggie" even he needs a little decoration. I love this little guy. I found him at a yard sale and could not resist buying him for 50 cents. What a deal. Selecting yarn for my next project seems to take endless hours of contemplating but I'm confident my choice will turn out just as pretty as the others.
